Chris + Gemma Engagement

We met up with Chris and Gemma in Los Angeles along the coastline. Chris is a long time family friend of Paulina’s, so when these two asked us to photograph their engagement and wedding, we were thrilled. We found a secluded beach, which did require a small truck down the side of the cliff. Together the four of us braved the hike, waves, and rocks, and shot during the most beautiful sunset we could have hoped for. Chris and Gemma will be tying the knot later this year, and we can’t wait to photograph their special day! Enjoy a few highlights from their session, and see the rest of their images under our “Betrothed” portfolio.

Marcos + Aissa Engagement

If you’ve been following us for a while, you probably know how we love showcasing our business at various wedding fairs across the Bay Area. Wedding fairs offer a unique and insightful experience for couples, as they are able to meet and discuss their needs with wedding vendors, learn more about how each vendor operates their business, and gather inspiration for their special day. One of the many reasons why we love showcasing at these events is it allows us to speak face to face with our clients, and learn more about who they are and how the two of them came together.

The last fair we attended in 2018 was at Hayes Mansion. For each fair we attend, we put together a free raffle for a chance to win a free engagement session. Marcos and Aissa came up to our booth and participated in our raffle. It was then that we had a chance to speak with them and hear their love story - And what a beautiful story it is! Marcos picked Aissa up in a limousine and brought her to a luxurious hotel that the two of them would be staying in. In their room, he laid out a brand new dress he had bought her. Without telling her his plans, Aissa put on her new designer dress and headed back into the limousine. To Aissa’s surprise, Marcos drove her to a large event center where all of Aissa’s family and friends were waiting. They say when you’re in love, you want to profess it at the top of a mountain or in front of a crowd, and Marcos did just that! With Aissa’s family and friends as their witnesses, Marcos got down on one knee and proposed to Aissa. Then the celebration began!

After hearing Marcos and Aissa’s engagement, we were so moved by Marcos’s dedication and thoughtfulness. When we pulled their name from our raffle box, another wave of excitement and emotion overcame us. It was such a treat for us to see these two again and offer them this session.

If you are interested in attending a wedding fair, please let us know. We’d be happy to provide you with more information. The next wedding fair we will be showcasing at is on March 31st at the Palace of Fine Arts! Click HERE for ticket information.
